2024 Fiscal Year Facts:
- Emergency shelter, meals, case management and other support services to 120 individuals including:
- 15 Veterans
- 43 children
- 26 total families
- Weekly meetings with a case manager for guidance, support, and caring
- Weekly sessions with shelter supervisors to guide residents with respect to their goals and progress
Valley Food Bank
at Spooner House
The food bank at Spooner House operates by appointment Monday through Thursday and on emergency basis as needed, providing 10 days' worth of groceries once per calendar month for each client in need.
2024 Fiscal Year Facts:
- More than 82,000 Meals provided to over 4,000 Adults, Children and Seniors in our community
- During November and December, provided 500 households in need with holiday meal baskets, complete with a frozen turkey and all the fixings

Building Hope . . . Renewing Lives
Emergency No-Freeze Shelter Services:
From November 15th through March 31st, Spooner House operates an emergency drop-in "No Freeze" shelter in order to keep people from freezing to death during the cold winter months.
Our No Freeze program for those in the Valley opens for the season on November 15th. Entry is at 9:00pm and exit is at 5:45am the next morning. Guests are provided with an evening meal at arrival and breakfast in the morning before departing.
